Gimlé has announced the release of Absolute Proof version 2.1.
Amongst other new features: Advanced linearization, Ink density control,
total ink limit control. Color curve editing. Ink Hue editing, for
bypassing Colorsync. Hexachrome / HiFi /
Multicolor support for building ICC profiles. Support for Hexachrome
in workflow. Special color library,
editable LAB library where user can fine-tune Spot colors to match
colors outside the CMYK colorgamut. Improved dithering, Improved
overprinting and trapping.
AbsoluteProof is the only solution on the market that offers
Hexachrome proofing. This revolutionary new technology enables Pantone
color matching of up to 95% of Pantone colors.
Hexachrome proofing now
enables proofing of Pantone colors that have been impossible to match
till now. By using Orange and Green colors with the standard CcMmYK
inks even Pantone colors like 021 and 375 can easily be matched.
AbsoluteProof supports both GretagMacbeth's ProfileMaker and Monaco
for building Hexachrome profiles.
