January 2002 – Absolute Proof version 2 released

Gimlé has announced the release of Absolute Proof version 2.
Amongst other new features is now Halftone proofing. AbsoluteProof can now produce true halftone up to a 110 line screen. AbsoluteProof has been very successful in the Newsprint as the Commercial marked and does now have multiple sites where end users are now producing halftone proofs on newsprint paper.  Gimlé has recently signed up as a developer for Epson, Hewlett Packard and Roland printers.
As a result AbsoluteProof now drives most Epson, Hewlett Packard and Roland printers in their native language. In addition to the PostScript printers.
