March 2001 - The Changing Market

The market is inevitably adopting digital technology and dealers already know what impact this is having on consumables. Customers are now moving inexorably towards digital proofing and dealers selling consumables are keen not to lose their customers' business.

The smarter dealers know that if they simply try to keep selling consumables they will end up losing entire accounts to more progressive dealers, unless they too are seen to be keeping up with trends and offering products their customers need and demand. If these customers can't get the products they want from their current dealer they will simply get them from someone else!
