July 2001 - Now the first U.S. Distributor appointed

The latest outcome of Gimlé's recent northern hemisphere tour is our equally proud announcement of the appointment of Gimlé's first USA distributor, SEPS Incorporated , which will be covering the southern states of the United States of America.. Michael and Cheryl Ray (President and Vice-President respectively) are the two principals of SEPS which is based in Birmingham, Alabama but operates throughout adjacent states and even further a field. Cheryl and her technical support consultant, Phil Crump, are having great success with AbsoluteProof and have already made their first sales to NTA. NTA is now operationally proofing on actual newsprint from Alabama to Ohio.

This is not simply newsprint simulation - this is the real thing - and for just a few cents per proof on HP800s using butt rolls off the press. NTA end up saving over $100 per proof and so will save the cost of AbsoluteProof in few weeks.
